What you'll need.
- Toilet Paper Roll
- Scissors
- Black Paint
- Mod Podge
- Micro-beads
- Paint Brushes
First I took the toilet paper roll and cut it in half.
Then I trimmed it a little more to make sure it wouldn't be too long.
Next, I painted the roll black on both the outside and the inside of the tube. I also put a few layers of paint on it so it didn't look like a toilet paper roll anymore! HA!!
Let it dry for about 30 min. As the paint is drying pour the micro-beads into a small dish or onto a plate. We choose black and red so it would match our theme. After the roll has dried, use the mod podge around the outside and proceed to roll it back and forth in the beads. You want the beads to stick and you also want to make sure you get a good amount on the tube.
Final step is to mod podge the outside. This will make it to where the beads are sealed in and wont fall off.
So there you have it! A simple and affordable way to make your own napkin rings. You could also make them in a few different colors and use them around Thanksgiving or Christmas. Keep an eye out for other tutorials from the party. Happy Haunting's y'all!
Love this Tute! These napkin rings are amazing!, I love the mixture of halloweenish colors in the beads! So sparkly too!
