Favorite Finds Friday {25}

Hey everyone! Megan here! SO, finally another edition of  Favorite Finds Friday. Halloween is almost here! I'm super excited even though I'm gonna be on a cruise ship this Halloween. But I was able to squeeze in some pumpkin carving before I set sail for the seven seas! I always take my pumpkin carving very very seriously. And I always try to challenge myself with something harder each year. Alex always just likes to free hand his, then he's always sad it didn't turn out as cool as everyone else's. Planning! Planning I told him. I've had my pumpkin idea picked out since last Halloween! And just what did I carve this year? Well, I'll just show you!

Why yes! That is in fact Maleficent; my all time favorite Disney villain! Pretty cool eh? I thought I might have messed her up for a long while that, but me, being super awesome at pumpkin carving was able to save her.

This is Alex's pumpkin. I think he was trying to go for birds here, but I'm really not sure. It's always really hard to tell what exactly he's trying to go for.

These are our pumpkins from last year. Mine is on the left and Alex's is on the right. I think he was going for the bat signal here...maybe. Or just a bat. I don't know. Anyway, enough pumpkin carving fun and on to Favorite Finds fun.

Megan's Picks

1. Pumpkin Cream Cheese Truffles via Erin's Food Files. Um....All I can is YUM!  How cute would these been for a little Halloween treat to give to all your neighbors and co-workers? Totally perfect for that!

2. Pumpkin Snickerdoodles via A Bitchin' Kitchen. First things first, such an adorable blog name. Second, I love pumpkin. Thirdly, I love snickerdoodles. And lastly, pumpkin and snickerdoodles combined? OMG! I LOVE this woman for her ingenuity! These cookies look so perfect and sooo delish!

3. Pumpkin Twinkies via Confessions of a Cookbook Queen. *drool* Twinkies and pumpkin...enough said.

Emily's Picks

1. DIY Cake Stand via I{heart} Nap TimeI love this cake stand! I might possibly have to make one for Scarlett's birthday. Might. Depending on time. Oh what am I saying this is too easy not to make. Now to find an old chandelier....

2. DIY Cracked Marble Necklace via Crafts UnleashedI saw a pin like this and I love the look of the cracked marbles. I think I may grab a bag and make some necklaces with Scarlett one of these days.

3. Butterfinger No-Bake Cheesecake via Pretty Pretty Things.What?!? I need this, in my mouth like now. Butterfingers are my favorite candy but I hate how they get stuck in my teeth. I think a velvety smooth cheesecake that taste like a butterfinger would be heavenly!

Melissa's Picks

1.Roasted Butternut Squash via Oh She Glows. Mmm! This looks delicious. I absolutely love squash and all the different things you can do with it. Truly a taste of fall.

2.Halloween Luminaries via Fishly News. These are really neat looking. The second option with the bags would be easier, but I really like the look of both. Good idea if you are in need of some more Halloween decorations.

3.Polka Dot Pumpkin via The SoHo. A majority of us love to get down and dirty and carve out our pumpkins every year. That may not be the look that others are going for. You can also paint on your pumpkins or use this idea and create something new. I've seen quite a few cool ideas!

That's it for this week's favorite finds! Tomorrow is our Saturday Social Blog Hop! Please remember to stop by and link up your blog. And make sure to visit all of lovely finds this week! See you soon!
