Melissa's Cheesy Chicken

Hello everybody! My name is Melissa, I'm a good friend of Emily and Megan. They have asked me to do a blog post for them this week of my cheesy chicken. It's a really great dish that can be mixed up depending on your family's taste, and it's cheap to boot!

You will need:

1lb Chicken breast
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 bag shredded cheese
Rice (optional)

Cooking spray

First preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Then spray a baking dish with the cooking spray and place the chicken in the dish.

Next spread the cream of chicken soup over the the chicken (don't thin it down!). I just plop it on and spread it around with a spoon.

Then bake the chicken for about 20 to 25 minutes or until done. During the last 5 minute of baking throw the cheese on top of the chicken so it can melt.

Sorry I forgot the "pre-melted" cheese picture, but that is what it looks like coming out of the oven.

I like to serve it over white rice, but it would be great with egg noodles or all on it's own. You could also throw some veggies and any seasoning you like in with it, like I said whatever your family likes!

A nice cheap meal that the whole family will enjoy!

It was an honor to be featured on Whimsically Homemade, I don't usually blog, but I hope you all like it!
